After update a WF-C5890 firmware using the version available on chiplesssolutions.com (https://chiplesssolutions.com/download/chipless/WFC5890_FWCK23TL_DB23P1_DB99Z9.zip), the printer presented a Blue Screen after restarted (as you can see in attachment), and got stuck in this screen for a long time.... Sometime latter,  the printer was turned off removing the power cable, and then the printer didn´t turn on anymore.

The procedure was done in service mode.

- NUMBER 4
- NUMBER 7
- JOB/STATUS BUTTON
- POWER ON BUTTON

Do you know why this is happening? That´s the seccont time that this happens.

Unfortunately it looks like Epson played a trick on us.
We are experiencing firmware upload issues on newer models of WF-C5890 and WF-C5810 printers.
Even turning on the printer in service mode, at the end of the firmware transfer process, the following error message is displayed on the screen: DATA FILE IS NOT FOUND. 
We've tried transferring the firmware in normal mode and in firmware mode, and neither is working.

Are you already aware of this issue?
We have at least 6 cases where it is not possible to transfer the firmware due to this issue.

Is there any solution for this?

I’m requesting a chipless firmware for the Epson WorkForce 4830.

i’ve been patiently waiting for a few years now and would love it if it could be a possibility. Let me know if you need me to dump the firmware or anything you need on my end to make this a possibility.

We have been using the Chipless Firmware in several P800 printers with excellent results.  Each printer was modified with the "no-expiry" version of the firmware.

A couple of the older printers have died over the past year and are beyond repair, so we are replacing them with almost-new P800's we found online.

Unfortunately those printers won't even boot up, but we do have the license keys and recovery keys stored on the computer that drives the printers.  Can we reassign the dead printers' licenses for use in the replacement printers?  If this is possible, how do we accomplish it?

I'm from Italy and I like to know if this software can be used for an Epson Stylus Photo 1500W. It's a pretty old printer but really good! I'd like to buy it but I can't find the exact model in the list of Chipless Firmware.

PX-M884F (Japan Version of WF-C5710) is listed with WF-C5710. But PX-M885F is not listed.

It's been a long time, I'm impatient and looking for a solution if it exists. help...

Long story short, I bought 8 printers in USA but I sent them to Honduras wich is in Latin America, I bought ink locally wich is not compatible with my printer, I could not returned them based on the time I bought them wich was around 2 months ago, so I bought an activation code to make my printer chipless from https://inkchip.net/, wich was updated in the next way:

1. I could not update the printer via Normal mode which is when printer can print normally.

2. I turned on the printer in Service Mode, but still the printer will not update the firmware and could not use the activation code.

3. I turned on the printer into Service Mode and while it was trying to update, I disconnected the printer and once on again, and it was in recovery mode.

5. I was able to update the firmware they sent and also activate the printer with the code they sent.

Here comes the nightmare, after updating the firmware, Printer will no longer show Ink error and accept the cartridges I bought locally, but I'm not able to use ethernet connection. I tried anything on my technical knowledge to make the printer get network, but it will just not give me an IP, even my switch does not recognizes the port, WiFi works just fine but based on internal policies of my company everything needs to run over RJ45. I contacted the provider and they helped me with some steps, even provided an older version of the firmware with no luck, since the printer shows error code 100016 where it does not detects the scanner.

Attached is the serial number of my printer and model description, perhaps this model I have is not fully compatible with the firmware they sent, and their response is usually slow since they are in Europe, I've been already dealing with this issue since the last week without any luck.

I want to mention also that this is the second printer I used the firmware they sent, first printer had the same problem and at the end we decided to use a print server via USB to RJ45 interface.
