I have an Epson Stylus Photo 1400 printer running firmware version AR1273. When I install a Continuous Ink Supply System (CISS), the printer shows an "X" over all the cartridges and does not recognize them. Is this a firmware issue? Do I need to downgrade the firmware to make the CISS work properly? If yes, which firmware version should I downgrade to for full CISS compatibility? Any advice or steps to resolve this would be appreciated!
