Forgot to mention I did this a year ago without any issue. Got new waste tank, ran WIC program, and it worked for a year. Unless Epson changed something, I shouldn't have any trouble resetting waste level.

I came to this site when I Googled for "reset et 3850 waste tank" and got the software but there is no option to reset it. This printer does not have a menu setting to reset which is why I was looking to reset it. I've already replaced the waste tank but the printer does not detect or use the tank's chip and per Epson, I'd have to send the printer to be services. (anyone would know sending a printer with full waste tank risked getting leaks everywhere due to rough handling of shipping services) Where can I find the reset option or where do I enter the code?
