The paper feed on my Epson 1430 is stuck with the roller engaged. I tried to reset it manually, and with the ink cartridges removed, but the roller does not reset. I get two blinking lights; the paper feed button and the ink button. Any suggestions on how to get it to reset to the proper position?

I fixed it. How to reset Epson 3800 when maintenance tank sensor says it's missing. Don't turn off printer or pull plug. Take out maintenance tank and close door. Open door, put it back in, and close door. Take out all cartridges and close lid. Open lid and put back cartridges and close lid again.

Epson Stylus Pro 3800 with refillable ink cartridges. When I open the cover to the ink cartridges and close it, sometimes the printer does not recognize the maintenance cartridge and an error message says to install it. I have been able to reset it on my own in the past, but not this time. I don't know if the problem is with the actual maintenance cartridge or with the refillable ink cartridges. This problem started after I installed refillable ink cartridges. Tried a reset tool too, but that doesn't work either. Thanks for any suggestions.
