I have the backup recovery file for an Epson WF-C5710 Chipless Installation, the printer has an 100016 error code and needs the Chipless to be reinstalled to get rid of it. The backup file is: "rcf". I can't open it. Does anyone know how to open it to get the key?

I donated a WF-C5710 printer to my favorite non-profit: One Nation Walking Together - onenationwt.org They now have an error message about Scanning. They can't fix the error code, it is related to scanning. Does anyone know how to clear the error code? A restart doesn't fix it. Will this problem need a re-install of the Chipless Firmware?

I bought a key, received the email, but there wasn't a key included.

"Please Update Our Firmware"
tdudash replied to tdudash's topic in Chipless Firmware by License.exe utility
They have a Windows 7 PC, it automatically updated the firmware when they started the PC, I wasn't there then, we'll need to remove the Epson file from their PC first. Thanks! -

After moving the printer, will I need to update the firmware at the new location? -

The 3rd time was a charm, it works now. When I move the printer to a new location, will there an issue again? Will I need to run your firmware update at their location? -
I upgraded the Firmware on a WF-5710 successfully. I gave the printer to a non-profit and when trying to install the printer at their location, It wouldn't recognize the ink cartridges. I tried to update the firmware at their location, the printer is on a network and wasn't recognized. When I brought the printer home to attempt another Chipless Conversion and I now receive the message to "Please Update Our Firmware", I figured there may be a newer version, I downloaded the firmware for the WF-C5710 again and attempted to upgrade and still receive the "please update our firmware" message. Any ideas?

Having problems installing Chipless on Epson WF-C5710, tried installing in Firmware Update mode, that failed, tried again in Normal mode, failed again. Tried both methods again and failed. Any ideas?

I have a Chipless Epson C5210 printer, after approx. 25,000 prints the cyan was printing lighter as I used the printer. I am recently retired from the commercial printing industry and have watched press operators tweek their ink on a press by adding a little black or other color. I added some black to the cyan cartridge and BOOM, it fixed the problem. The prints are darker and look like they did before the problem.

EPSON WF-C5790 "Ink Leak" Error 034841
tdudash replied to jfprinter's topic in Inkjet Printers Issues
I had this problem, the printer had 47,000 impressions, the Chipless seems to prevent the Ink Tank Full message. The Ink Box was overflowing which tripped the Ink Sensor, ink was literally dripping out of the printer.- 15 replies

I tried the updated file from Dec. 17, it didn't work, ended up with the same screen as the photo posted above. Any ideas on how to produce chipless after Epson's firmware update on Oct. 11, 2019?

Hi John, I tried the updated C5210 file above, I didn't mean to use the file, is there any way to go back to a previous version on this printer?

I've have a WF-C5210 that I successfully installed chipless firmware, that printer had firmware before Epson's update on 10-11-2019. I recently bought another from Dell, it has a later serial number and apparently has the updated firmware because when I tried to update the firmware, it failed. I tried Eric's update and it also failed to update the C5210 printer from Dell. Anyone has any ideas?
