At first, the printer could not detect the paper correctly during the head width scan (left/right detection). The roll paper is loaded correctly, but detection fails. Now I have an additional problem: when I power the printer on, the carriage keeps making very small back-and-forth movements endlessly and never finishes initialization. The carriage does not travel normally across the printer anymore — it just oscillates in short movements forever. I already tried: reloading the paper cleaning visible sensors restarting and unplugging the printer checking the roll alignment Any advice would really help. Thanks!
