Epson SureColor SC-P700 or SC-P900 chipless firmware

We were using Epson sc-p800s. Since they are removed from production, New sc-p900 came in stocks for us to buy. 
However there is a chip reset system for them. I think This model would ve popular like old ones if you can make a chipless version of it.

Could you kindly provide information on the status of the models mentioned in the title (P700 and P900)?
Is a chipless solution planned or is it not currently being worked on? If so: can the release date be roughly estimated?
