So How can I do this without buying the key ??

In order to repair a canon G2400 printer, I must first reset it and then do other jobs.

Now, imagine that, after resetting, the printer has a damaged head or any other incurable problem. Then, I would have spent some money for nothing...

 

I would like to find  way to reset just for the printer giving me some tests and decide whether it has to be repaired or not.
