Under firmware update it says NW2017. Does that mean it took?

I tried again uploading the firmware update normal mode and it seemed to work. I had to do it twice because it said 99% - failed to upload. The second time I just tried to put in the activation key and it took. I just restarted my printer. How do I know if it is in working order? Where do I check if the firmware is successfully installed?

When I try to activate online I get "Reading failed -1". I have an Epson XP15000.
