Hello john, is there any chance of this printer getting chipless firmware?
I own a workforce 840 still running the firmware CS05AB dated 5/11/2010.
I've attached a picture of the rom Ver. check in case it helps.
from what i understand based on the hacking-printers wiki, epson did not apply code signing on firmware written before 2016.
If there is no plan to add chipless firmware for the workforce 840, can you point me towards a utility like "SSC Service Utility" but for workforce series printers so i can disable the CSIC?
