veedee 0 Report post Posted November 4, 2014 Hi. I just bought a reset key to downgrade my firmware. I'm using the mac version of iwic and am connected via USB. I powered down the printer, restarted it holding power and the far right section of the touchscreen until the LCD read EPSON PRINTER ROM IPL UPDATE MODE. i refreshed the iwic device list, selected the Artisan 837 firmware and hit update. The update downloaded to iwic, BUT the LCD says NOW READING DATA FILE PROGRESS 0 PERCENT, and it has said that for a little while now. In red text at the bottom of the iwic interface, a note appears saying: COULD NOT GRANT CREDITS FOR UPDATE COMMAND ANSWER The printer will also not power off now. It is stuck in the IPL update mode waiting for a data file to read. do you know what i should do to get this to work? thanks
