  1. When I try to start the WIC utility, it says that it can not connect to the database and then it says my Epson Artisan 810 printer is not supported; however, the 2manuals website believes that the printer is supported.

    The WIC program subsequently closes.

    I read the notes and uninstalled teh WIC program and re-installed it with WIN XP compatibility but it still craps out.

    What now?

    ================ SOLUTION ============================

    Run the program as Administrator on PC.

  2. If you get this message: "Internet connection lost" - it maybe:

    - you have old version of WIC Reset Utility - please update it or download and install latest version;
    - if you cant update - check IP settings in the program and change IP address to 178.63.104.69 - please watch the video how to change!
    - bad internet connection;

    - some temporary problem on our server - try later.

  3. You can enter your printers real Serial # and USB ID and save this data.

    It will fix settings error message and will print correctly.

    If you want to make T1100 printer initialization - you need T1100 Adjustment Program

  4. How do I take a screenshot?

    press print_screen.png = Windows captures the entire screen and copies it to the clipboard.

    Where can I find that key?

    3keys.png look for this group of keys at the upper right of your keyboard. Note: Print Screen (PrtScn) might have been abbreviated differently on your keyboard

    How do I take a screenshot of a single window?

    hold alt_right.png and press print_screen.png = Windows captures only the currently active window and copies it to the clipboard.

    I guess it is in the clipboard now. How can I paste it into a document or something?

    hold control.png and press v.png = Windows pastes the screenshot (that is in the clipboard) into a document or image you are currently editing.

    Where should I paste it? I just need a (graphics) file.

    Start -> Paint -> Paste -> Save

    start_paint.png

    Can you show me in a video?

    There must be a dedicated program for taking screenshots on Vista and Windows 7. How can I find?

  5. Download latest version of WIC Reset Utility and Install it.

    Connect the printer by USB cable to PC.
    Power on the printer.
    Cancel all printer jobs.
    Run the WIC Reset Utility.

    Click on the button - Read Waste Counters and see their values:

    read1.jpg read2.jpg

    If even one counter is overflow - more then 100% - the printer will not work and you have to reset this counter.
    If all counters are low then 100% - printer can work ok.

  6. Where possible, when new printers models are released we will purchase, test and update compatibility with the WICReset and iWIC (Mac) utilities.

    However some printer models are only available in countries that we cannot purchase from, so we need customer help.

    If Your printer is not currently compatible with the WICReset tool you can

    help us add support in return for a Free WICReset key.

    After we get success report for your printer model - we'll give you one Reset Key for testing.

    If the WIC Reset Utility reset your printers Waste Ink counter - we'll add your printer model to the supported printers list

    and

    GIVE YOU ONE MORE FREE RESET KEY for future (or you can use it on other printer).

    Please follow this instructions:

    1. Run the WIC Reset Utility.

    2. Connect the Epson printer to PC by proper USB cable.

    3. Click on the Check Your Printer Model button.

    4. Check the Testing advanced command set in the Options tab.

    5. Click on RUN button in General tab.

    The WIC Reset Utility will create the report and give the information if your printer model can be supported.

    This is very easy. If you have any questions - you are welcome here!

    Please contact us after making report.
