  1. What counters do You want to reset? INK CARTRIGES counters or WASTE INK counters?

    1. If you need to reset ink cartriges (ink level in the chip installed on the cartrige) - you have to use Chip Resetter or use Auto Reset chips instead of Epson original chips.

    2. If you need to reset the Waste Ink Counters - you can make it by multimodel WIC Reset Utility or by Epson Artisan 800 Adjustment Program.

Both utilities can reset waste ink counters in Artisan 800.

Let me explain the difference between WIC Reset Utility and Adjustment Program.

WIC Reset Utility is multimodel reset utility and is used by technicians and by resellers.

You can download Waste Ink Counters (WIC) Reset Utility free here:

    For Windows OS - http://www.2manuals.com/WIC/WICReset.zip

    For MAC OS - http://www.2manuals.com/WIC/iWIC/iWIC.dmg

WIC Reset Utility for some printer models has free functions like:

    - check the current value of waste ink counters and ink level counters (FREE)

    - reset Ink Level counters in printers L100, L200, L800 only (FREE)

    - cleaning printhead (FREE)

    - Ink charge (FREE)

    - read and write serial number (FREE)

    - read and write USB ID (FREE)

    - read and write HEAD ID (FREE)

    - make EEPROM dump, backup (FREE)

    - paper feed test (FREE)

    - nozzle check (FREE)

    - color check pattern (FREE)

    - initialize (disable) PF deterioration offset (FREE)

    - retrieve device information (FREE)

The Waste Ink Reset function is not Free. It requires RESET KEY.

You can buy it here The price depend on q-ty - $3.99-$9.99 per one Reset Key.

The Reset Key has no expiration date and can be used in any supported printer model. The Reset Key is for one reset only.

You can reset your printer in few minutes:

    - Download WIC Reset Utility

    - Buy Reset Key

    - see this 30 seconds video instruction

What about Adjustment Programs? They have no limits. You can reset ONE model only. You can reset how many times you want. But it is for one printer model only. Some printer models still dont have Adjustment Programs. For example we have Artisan 800 Adjustment Program, but we don't have Artisan 810 Adjustment Program.

We have developed WIC Reset Utility and support it 24 / 7 / 365

We have Live Help Chat (upper right corner at 2Manuals.com)

  2. WIC Reset Utility supports FREE Trial Reset Keys.

Trial Reset Key will reset Waste Ink Counters from 100% (overflowed condition - blocked printer) to 80% (ready to print).

Trial Key will work ONE TIME only on each printer. You can't use it second time on the same printer.

Trial Key can be used on Epson printers only. Canon printers doesnt support Trial Keys.

Use this Trial keys - TRIAL or trial

Please watch the videotutorial - How to use Free TRIAL Reset key

If You have already used trial key - You have to use Regular Reset Key

  3. We are getting many complains on Epson reset utility such as following:

    =====================================================================
    > I have an Epson Artisan 810
printer which is giving me the error message  "The Printer's ink pads are at the end of their service life. Please contact Epson Support"

    > I changed the ink-pads on the printer and downloaded the inkpad reset  utility from https://ipr.ebz.epson.net/dl/EPIPR_ART810_NA.EXE
    > I used the software to reset the inkpad counter; then the program ran and  then asked me to power off the printer.
    > Once I powered it off, and then on, the error message went away; however  it comes back immediately when I try to print a page. (tried it numerous  times)

    > I used your WIC Reset Utility to read conters, and before the resetting, it shows: 100.08% (7929 of 7923) [this counter overflowed and printer need reset] 40% (4913 of 12284) [ this counter is ok ] and after the epson utility reset, it shows
    40% (3169 of 7923) [ this counter is ok ]
    40% (4913 of 12284) [ this counter is ok ]

so looks OK; however when I try to print or do head cleaning, it starts
giving the error again, and the data read on WIC Reset Utility is back to
     100.08
% (7929 of 7923) [this counter overflowed and printer need reset]
     40% (4913 of 12284) [ this counter is ok ]

I would like to purchase a key for your WIC Reset utility, however I am  worried that I would have the same issue that utility as well, and  waste my money without getting results....
     Could you please help me?

    =====================================================================

Yes. The Epson IPR utility has that problem and it is common. Many customers complain on it. By the way this problem is common for some other models too. And for Epson Artisan 810 in particular.

The WIC Reset utility has no such problem. All customers with Artisan 810 use WIC reset utility to reset the Artisan 810 Waste ink counters and are happy.

You can see our customers testimonials - http://www.2manuals.com/reviews.php

We garantee WIC Reset Utility will work perfect 100%!

By the way! As this Artisan 810 models is often used with WiFi connection - the WIC Reset Utility will NOT work.

You have to connect the printer by USB cable only. Not LAN, not WiFi connections are suported with WIC Reset Utility. USB only. Use PROPER USB cable!

You can reset your printer in few minutes:

    - Download WIC Reset Utility
    - Buy Reset Key

  5. If you have the printer not supported by WIC Reset Utility you can try to help us to add your printer model.

Connect the Epson printer to PC by proper USB cable and Run the WIC Reset Utility.

If Your printer model is not supported yet - You'll see Symbol "?" at the printer model. See the picture in the left window.

    create_report.jpg

Click on the Create a report button.

The WIC Reset Utility will create the report and save it at the WIC server. We'll Check this information and add this model to supported list if it is possible.

This is very easy. If you have any questions - you are welcome here!
