Good day. Unfortunately this means that this version of the firmware has been blocked, you can restore normal behaviour by flushing latest version of the firmware from official site.

The only difference here is during the writing of the initial settings, if this operation is used application will set region to europe in the eeprom and default paper size to A4, everyting else is the same. Additionally error codes usualy indicate mechanical malfunction and this looks more like firmware failure, try to update firmware from the official epson site before doing anything else (in normal mode first and in service mode if it will not work).

Good day. FA24I5 is a chipless version, you need to upload latest version of the firmware first:

then restart the printer and confirm that firmware is changed and maintenance box is recognized,
after this reupload chipless firmware and apply recovery key.

It takes a while to report this ink error, It's run is a new program update that resets the ink IC, but the machine still does not receive the ink.
But what version exactly it is? New one that you are used last time, not the chipless one.
Also, what firmware version printer is showing at the moment?

In order to restore standart behaviour enable recovery firmware option in the settings (main menu > file > settings > Show Firmware Options for Recovery Mode) then select the firmware in the new list and flush it to the printer (those are free).
Unfortunately, WIC version of the firmware most likely has been blocked for your device, you need to use CS version. You may replace WIC key for the CS key by paying the difference here:

In WICReset check printer's status. It is most likely a fatal error in which case click `report` button and find last fatal error code field, it will contain error code and th list of possible causes. After this you will need to fix the error manually using service manual.

Firmware for XP-6000 is not compatible with XP-6100.

For my WF-7620 the table shows "AD21G7" for Required Firmware Key. And "NA" for Activation Key. Can anybody please clarify what the "NA" is about? Does it mean it is free for me to use this chipless software on my WF-7620? And is the "AD21G7" still a functional Firmware Key?
This means that chipless firmware for this model is only available in the WICReset and it is not supported by Chipless Solutions.
This firmware is not free and AD21G7 is actual firmware version, not a key. You need to use keys from there:

The notice shown below appears about my WF-7620:
"The reset and read counters function are NOT available for this models (adjustment functions only)."
Some printers has a chip on the maintenance box and for those printers software reset is not possible at all. This has no direct relation to the chipless firmware.
Lastly, I still need to buy third party refillable ink cartridges for my Epson WF-7620 printer. What is the correct refillable ink cartridges I can buy that will help the WIC firmware in working problem free? Any advice that points me to the best online store I can buy the correct third party refillable ink cartridges from will be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time.
If you will be able to install chipless firmware it will work with anything that you can install in the printhead, it will even work without any IC at all. Unfortunately I do not have specific advice about what store will be the best for your country or which IC to use.

XP-8500 and XP-8600 are incompatible, firmware for one could not be used for another.

In the WICReset in the settings (main menu > file > settings) enable advanced functions then in the list at the bottom of the main interface in the `Iniialization and Conversions` section select `Reset the platen pad counter`, when operation is completed restart the printer and write the results.

Please, start license.exe and try to activate again, when you get the error close message box then copy text from upper field in the application and post it here.

Please, describe what exactly is happening during the starting sequence or make a video if possible.
Also you can restore original firmware in order to test this and then reactivate the printer using same procedure as earlier, but I still almost certain that this is separate problem.

According to the screenshot carriage cannot move, you need to try to start the printer without CISS and see if it will clear the error and also check all of possible causes from the error description.

Unfortunately no, there are no firmware that ignores maintenance box, only IC chips.

Chipless firmware has version NW07K7 as well, updater is supposed to fail during update. Please, read this:

Good day. You need to use free recovery firmware for this (first enable firmwares for recovery mode in the WICReset options from the mian menu) then you will see new list for your printer in the main interface, select recovery firmware for you model and follow instructions.
