amessana 0 Report post Posted November 10, 2020 I used WIC to install the Chipless Firmware. WIC said all good, but Epson P400 will not restart and is stuck in Service Mode on Printer and WIC software. Tried restarting both pc and printer but can't get out of Service Mode. Paper and Ink lights are solid, no blue light. Any help would be appreciated. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

In order to restore standart behaviour enable recovery firmware option in the settings (main menu > file > settings > Show Firmware Options for Recovery Mode) then select the firmware in the new list and flush it to the printer (those are free). Unfortunately, WIC version of the firmware most likely has been blocked for your device, you need to use CS version.
