vra1974 0 Report post Posted June 24, 2023 Hi. I have a Epson WF-5290 printer with your amazing chipless firmware. The printer head went damaged for exsesive use. But my print head is a G0 Locked print head. Which costs about $400.00usd. There are other print heads for this model, unlocked and other letters and number. My question is: Now that my printer firmware is chipless, can I use a "Unlocked" printhead (Of course with the same pin numbers and for the same model) ?? Unfortunately, I don't have required information to tell one way or another as it was not tested by us, but other than skipping ink level check, printer should behave exactly as one with the official firmware.
