problem with initial inkcharge and refill cartridges for SC P600

Recommended Posts

Hello, I bought the EPSON SC-P600 adjustment Program to do an inital ink refill after cleaning the printer.

The program is communicating with the printer, but it will not restart the initial refill because it recognizes that I'm not using the orginal Epson cartridges.

What can I do to get the inkcharge to start to work. Just buy an complete set of original cartridges is much to expensive.

Thanks for the help, Michael Freytag

Hello,

in the program, I get the error "ink out" and on teh display of the printer I get: "use the with the printer delivered orginal cartridges....".

I hope this helps to find a solution.

Greetings,  Michael freytag

Does the printer works with current cartridges in the cases other than initial filling? I know that setup cartridges can only be used for first charge but I never encountered models where it was other way around.

Yes, the cartridges are working fine in the printer. Only when I'm trying to do something triggered by the adjustment program (haed claenaing, intial inkfill), I'm getting the error messages.

Hello, thanks for trying to help. I contacted the IC manufacturer, there is no way to tell the chip that the cartridge is full. Your program is then not able to work with 3.party IC's. What a pity!  I'll buy a new printer but not an Epson again!
