Having the exact same issue as: https://forum.2manuals.com/index.php?/topic/80626-error-when-trying-to-activate-wrong-id-readed-from-the-printer/ I notice you provided new firmware, different than the one on your site. Do you have a new firmware zip for WF4720? Thank you. Just bought my key and emailed you guys also.

Hello, I have the same image as EEFRAINN and downloaded the latest firmware proposed by John_Admin. And this :

I updated my xp 640 printer with the firmware successfully but cant get the activation code to work. Where do I enter into the activation app? Does the printer have to be in the update mode?
