wic.support 31 Report post Posted August 16, 2022 On the last screenshot printer is available via Wi-Fi only which means that WIC does not see USB connection either, futhermore the ports tab in the printer's properties window will show the port even if the printer itself is offline. wic.support 31 Report post Posted August 16, 2022 You don't need to connect to the global internet to find the printer as long as VM and printer is in the same local network, your screenshot from WIC shows network connection via 192.168.1.128 IP, but not USB connection. I’ve tried on three computers and 2 different versions of the program that I have downloaded today and that was also from a few years ago. Any ideas? sjane-ppp 0 Report post Posted December 18, 2022 Hi John, I’ve tried 4 computers. Even used the older licence zip file O had from a few years ago. I used to have to do the firmware on one computer and licence on another one but now I can’t even do that. I have 8 printers I need to get up and running and stupidly got 8 keys with a jan 23 expiry as I thought I could get them all done in one day. pease help ASAP, even things i’ve done doesn’t work Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

sjane-ppp 0 Report post Posted December 18, 2022 I’ve done all the steps multiple times plus have done this to over 50 printers previously so I’m not doing anything differently. The licence program just won’t work at all on this model (was working when we have the 2860 models but can’t get them now) Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
