  10. Epson continue to improve their printers and with every generation both quality, speed & reliability go from strength to strength but occasionally things do go wrong. When they do, the control panel will indicate the problem with a series of codes. Not all codes are trouble, some are merely service requests which will crop up depending on the printer usage. Unfortunately it isn't an exact science as some error codes may actually mean something else related further down the mechanical line. The following codes relate to the Stylus Pro series which can all be fixed. 0002 Carriage motor / ink tube EOL 0004 Nozzle check error 0008 RTC error 0020 Print head EOL 0040 Cleaning unit EOL 0080 RTC date not set 0100 RTC battery low 0400 Pressure pump assembly EOL 00000088 RTC defective 00000100 Waste ink pad service life 00000101 CR motor / ink tubes EOL 00000103 RTC date invalid 00000105 Print head EOL 00000106 Cleaning unit EOL 00010000 PF encoder check 00010001 PF motor out of step 00010002 Over current on PF motor 00010003 PF motor out of position time out 00010004 CR encoder check 00010005 CR motor out of step 00010007 CR motor out of position time out 00010008 Servo interrupt watchdog time out 0001000A Carriage home position detection 0001000C PG home detection 00010014 Pressurising failure 0001001B Head driver TG temperature 0001001D CR servo parameter 0001001E PF servo parameter 00010020 CSIC read / write 00010023 RTC analysing 00010025 CSIC ROM communication error 00010026 RTC communication 00010027 Pressure pump micro air leak 00010028 Print head 0001002A CR ASIC ECU 0001002D Cleaning unit EOL 00010035 Pump phase detection 00010036 Type-B board installation 00010037 Head thermistor 00010038 Transistor thermistor 0001003E Pressure sensor failure 0001003F Pressure motor EOL 00010040 Printing position 00020000 NVRAM 00020002 SDRAM 00020003 Boot program sum 0002000A Program load 0002000B Internal memory insufficient 0DXXXXXX Debugging 0EXXXXXX RTC timer time lag 100000E0 CPU address (Loading misalignment) 10000100 CPU address (Storing misalignment) 10000180 CPU reserved command code exception 100001A0 CPU slot undefined command exception 100001C0 AC power shut off 100005C0 CPU DMA address 10000XXX CPU Maintenance Tank Error Whenever a head clean, ink charge or borderless over spray occurs the ink has to go somewhere. Unfortunately it doesn't just disappear so any ink that doesn't make it on to paper makes it's way to specially designed porous pads which act like a sponge to lock in excess ink. Over time theses get full and when they do a message similar to the image on the right appears. If you are looking to purchase a replacement maintenance tank why not visit our main e-commerce site where you can order consumables direct to your door. Most of the 17"+ Stylus Pro printers use the C12C890191 maintenance tank, where as the 3800, & the 3880 use the C13T582000 maintenance cartridge, but the recently introduced 7700 & 9700 had to be different so they use the C12C890501 maintenance tank. Maintenance Tank Unlike the domestic inkjet printers, the Pro series is designed specifically for the high end market. With down time costing thousands of pounds a simple problem like saturated porous pads must be dealt with promptly. Replacing these in a smaller Stylus printer is no simple job; the printer needs to be completely dismantled to gain access to the pads which are normally in the bottom of the chassis. This is not the case with the newer larger printers as the porous pads are located on the sides of the printer with anywhere between one to even three on the Stylus Pro 11880 64" wide beast. Simply pull out the container and replace it with a fresh new one.

  12. You have to connect the printer by USB cable only! Not LAN, WiFi, Ethernet... Disconnect all other USB devices. Shut all Epson utilities such as: - Epson Status Monitor 3 - Epson LFP utility - Epson My Portal - Epson Help Center or other Epson Utilities. Run 4900 program as administrator. Or try on another PC.

  15. How to reset Epson WF-3620, WF-3640 printers waste ink counter without using Adjustment Program Usualy You can reset Waste Ink Pad Counters in Epson printers by using Adjustment Program or WIC Reset Utility. But this Epson WF-3620, WF-3640 printer models doesnt have built in waste ink counter. The counter is stored in the IC chip installed on separate Maintenance Cartridge (box). When it overflow - You have to replace it by new one with new IC chip. The Maintenance Box stores ink that gets flushed from the system during print head cleaning. When the maintenance box is at the end of its service life, you need to replace it......... http://www.2manuals.com/wf3620_waste.php
  16. Epson ME-101 is supported by WIC Utility already. So you can just buy the Reset Key for ME-101 printer.
