You have to connect the printer by USB cable only! Not LAN, WiFi, Ethernet... Disconnect all other USB devices. Shut all Epson utilities such as: - Epson Status Monitor 3 - Epson LFP utility - Epson My Portal - Epson Help Center or other Epson Utilities. Run 4900 program as administrator. Or try on another PC.

How to reset Epson WF-3620, WF-3640 printers waste ink counter without using Adjustment Program Usualy You can reset Waste Ink Pad Counters in Epson printers by using Adjustment Program or WIC Reset Utility. But this Epson WF-3620, WF-3640 printer models doesnt have built in waste ink counter. The counter is stored in the IC chip installed on separate Maintenance Cartridge (box). When it overflow - You have to replace it by new one with new IC chip. The Maintenance Box stores ink that gets flushed from the system during print head cleaning. Epson ME-101 is supported by WIC Utility already. So you can just buy the Reset Key for ME-101 printer.

This model has separate maintenance cartridge with chip. So you have to replace the maintenance chip. You CAN'T reset waste ink chip on maintenance cartridge by any software. You CAN reset waste ink counters on printer which doesn't have maintenance chips.
