Pabloalbo1991 0 Report post Posted March 16, 2020 I have the solution for reading failed -1 problem 1.- Put the printer in recovery mode. To put in recovery mode you must load the firmware and when I start writing the printer you turn it off before it finishes. 2.- When in recovery mode, upload the firmware to the printer from your pc. When charging is complete, the printer will turn itself off. 3.- You turn on and apply the activator "license" and voila !!! It works perfectly ..... wic.support 31 Report post Posted April 9, 2020 This means that either USB cable is damager or more likely, that printer has some error (for example ink out error). Unfortunatelly, for some models update process is only possible if printer is ready to print (i.e. it does not show ink out error or any other errors at all). For such printer recognizable ink cartridges or suitable alternative must be installed while it is updating. If it is not possible, you may try to update it first using service mode and if it fails, try this method.
