  1. Good day. CA08P9 is only a few months old, you need an older version. Try this one from epson archive and report the results, in particular if the version is changed after update process: https://download3.ebz.epson.net/dsc/f/03/00/15/88/80/08ab2c159922c7920d9730e03ad7990fb5ef5f0b/FWCH70TL_CA29O5.exe
  2. Good day. Please, explain your problem in more details step by step. Do you have 3rd party cartridges? CISS system? When exactly they stopped being recognized, right after update? You said you already downgraded firmware, how, when? The more information you provide the more likely we will be able to help.
  3. If it is okay, I can connect to you remotely and check the problem myself, please, write me in the PM if you want to proceed.
  4. Good day. I'm not sure what exactly is the problem. Can you input text in different field? Are you trying to type or copy/paste it? If it is acceptable I can connect to you remotely and check it myself.
  5. Good day. Unfortunately, it is impossible to tell, even if the problem is indeed with firmware compatibility and not with the cartrdiges themselves we did not test every combination, far from it. I'm afraid the only way to tell for sure is to try it.
  6. Good day. According to the epson database ET-3700 uses C13T04D100 mainteance box that has a chip so internal reset is not possible.
  7. Unfortunately, this is how the chipless mode for this specific model operates, not much can be done at the moment.
  8. Good day. At the moment trial reset is only possible if printer is already blocked, there should have been relevant error message during the reset process.
  9. Good day. 1. Ink levels are stored on the ink cartridge's chip and data on the chip will not be updated while chipless firmware is installed, so, while ink will be used, information on the cartridges left unchanged. 2. Yes, you can restore original firmware afterwards though using it just to clean nozzles sounds rather expensive.
  10. Good day. It looks like you opened the file directly from the archive, please, extract it first in the separated folder.
  11. Good day. If a printhead has more letters than required then it is probably from the other (presumably compatible) model. What is the part number of the replacement head? Also, this string basically encodes a sequence of bytes with ascii symbols each byte written to the corresponding location in the eeprom. If there are more symbols that required then there are no reasonable way to reduce it to the shorter form. Moreover, while writing head id can improve or fix printing quality, its absence should not be a cause of fatal errors, so if this is the case then the problem most likely with something else.
  12. Good day. Please, try this one: https://chiplesssolutions.com/download/chipless/WFC5890_FWCK23TL_DB23P1_DB99Z9.zip
  13. Good day. New firmware version is available: https://www.chiplesssolutions.com/download/chipless/WFM5799_FWG240TL_CR15NC_CR99Z9.zip Please, try this one.
  14. Good day. What exactly is happening? Does the application freeze when you press `activate` button?
  15. Good day. Please, try this: https://forum.2manuals.com/index.php?/topic/81470-io-errors-on-windows-10/ just skip the last step and try to activate instead.
  16. This should be fixed, please, try again.
  17. Good day. What is the printer's model? Also, in the wic's menu select `support : send error report` and I will check log files.
  18. Good day. Please, provide more information about the issue, exact model and exact name of the firmware you are uploading as well as detailed descripion of how you are entering the service mode, if possible provide a screenshot of the printer's screen in the service mode at the beginning before you start the upload process.
  19. Good day. Please, try to upload firmware in the service mode and then again in the normal mode. Once it is done try to activate again.
  20. Good day. Firmwares for WP-2950 and WP-2960 are currently tested. Unless something goes wrong they will be ready in a couple of weeks.
  21. Please, read this: https://forum.2manuals.com/index.php?/topic/81509-query-is-rejected/&tab=comments#comment-90737
  22. Good day. What firmware version you are using? Please, check on the printer or using WIC.
  23. For everybody who had trouble with this firmware, please, try again, first in service mode then in normal mode again.
  24. Good day. I checked right now and I can succesfully conect to the server. If there is really no firewall rules that may block either IP or port then the address must be blocked by provider. Please, try another internet connection or use VPN (but in this case you will need to configure routing table so that connection to the server can go through VPN).
  25. Great. Most likely if this was a viable approach we would have already received relevant reports, but it would not hurt anyway.
